My name is Ben, and my journey began in photography when I was about 10 years old. Having grown up around horses all my life, with a combination of my Mum owning and competing on several and me riding a 12.2h Grey Welsh Section A pony called Whattie, I often attended events, taking photographs of family friends who were competing - using a very basic digital camera.

At the age of 16, I decided that equestrian photography was something I wanted to start taking more seriously, so I began working as a paid equestrian photographer, covering a wide array of events for a number of different companies over the last 9 years - including dressage, show jumping, eventing, polo and mounted games.

Since then, my work has been published in a number of different equestrian magazines and national newspapers, including Horse & Hound,  British Eventing Life Magazine and The Times.

Image quality is something I particularly pride myself in, and as such, I use the latest top-end Nikon cameras and lenses for all my work.

Please feel free to have a browse around my website and photo galleries for examples of my work, and should you have any queries or questions, please don't hesitate to contact me.
